Each notebook contains 48 sheets of 90 gsm Clairefontaine paper. This satin finish paper can handle many inks from fountain pens to watercolor markers, and it is a favorite of fountain pen users. The notebook spine is sewn to preserve the integrity of the binding, and increase the book's longevity. 

White covers contain ultra-white paper in either blank or lined styles.

Blue covers contain warm ivory paper in either blank or lined styles.
