All season jacket

From Norway, through Argentina, around Cape Horn and all the way down to Antarctica, this short and light insulated jacket was the best companion. Since that time Amundsen have updated with Norwegian Woolinside insulation for better temperature control. Featuring merino wool knitted elements on cuffs, waist and collar for maximum comfort. Truly an all-season jacket for any sport or occasion.

    • Lightweight durable polyamide face
    • 120 grams Norwegian Woolinside insulation
    • Cuffs, waist and neck knitted in pure merino wool
    • Antarctic Tartan lining
    • Amundsen Peak patches on upper sleeves

    • Manufactured Locally: Made in Estonia
    • Sustainability through Longevity: While the biggest polluters in the outdoor industry compete to make the most noise about recycling and other green initiatives, Amundsen focus on what matters most: fewer products. Through the use of quality materials, technology and craftsmanship, Amundsen continuously make sure your timeless and versatile garments last for generations.
  • Amundsen clothing is named after one of the greatest explorers ever to walk the Earth. No pressure there then. In fact, the companyโ€™s co-founder, Jรธrgen Amundsen, is a relative of the legendary man himself, and the brandโ€™s designs are based on classic styles from the golden age of exploration. Throw in a generous dash of 1960s Nordic ski resort chic and youโ€™ve got a unique range of good-looking kit thatโ€™ll get you noticed in all the right ways.

However, thereโ€™s nothing old-fashioned about the way Amundsenโ€™s gear performs. Ruggedly built from merino wool and waterproof triple-layer cotton, these are serious expedition-grade garments built for a Scandi outdoor culture โ€“ a concept that the Norwegians call โ€˜friluftslivโ€™, or โ€˜open-air lifeโ€™. Itโ€™s the idea that time spent enjoying the freedom of the outdoors should be a core part of your life, since it enhances just about everything else. Now thatโ€™s something we can all get on board with.
