Brause Calligraphy Nib - Bandzug - Set of 3

The Brause Bandzug Nib is a squared nib for italic lettering with an ink reservoir on top. The tip has a unique, slight angle which gives its upstrokes a thin precision, making the Bandzug nib ideal for Gothic, Roman, and italic lettering.

The .7mm nib is a size that is unique to Brause. This size nib is good for invitations, or when the 1mm is just a little too large.

About Brause:

Founded in 1850 by the Brause brothers and Carl Bergfeld, the German company was originally a needle and bike spoke manufacturer. It wasn't until 1895 that Brause settled into their high quality fountain pens and nibs that are still around today. According to Brause, they have developed over 400 different nib types to this day.
